Meet your Doctors
Dr. Kevin Grimm
Dr. Grimm is a 1990 graduate of U of D. He has a certificate in Contemporary and Esthetic Reconstructive Dentistry from University of Minnesota, certificate in orthodontics from FORCE orthodontics and a certificate in Implantology from NYU as well Alabama Institute. He taught oral medicine and dentistry as an adjunct clinical instructor for St. John’s Hospital.
While he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he most enjoys reconstruction dentistry.
When not at work, Dr.Grimm spends time with his nine children and twelve grandchildren. He is an avid motorsports enthusiast, and you will often find him on his property doing motorcycle jumps.
Dr. Steven Hechtman
Dr. Hechtman attended Wayne State University for his Bachelor’s Degree and continued on to the University of Michigan for his dental education. He has over 40 years of experience in detristy and has said that he chose dentistry because it helps people maintain and improve their health. Dr. Hechtman lives with his wife and has four children, one cat, and a dog. During his spare time he likes to read and listen to audiobooks, as well as playing Texas Holdem.
Dr. John Zablocki
Dr. Zablocki received his D.D.S Degree from Detroit Mercy and has been in practice for more than 30 years. He has been local to the area all his life! He enjoys spending time with his family, either at home or at a gathering or cooking for his loved ones.
Dr. Moses Shin
Dr. Moses Shin completed his undergraduate degree in engineering at Sung-Kyun-Kwan University in Seoul, South Korea. He worked as a researcher with Samsung Electronics for two years before coming to the US in 2001 to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Southern California. Dr. Shin moved to Ann Arbor in 2003 and enrolled in the Ph.D program in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan. In his second year in the program, however, he decided to switch to dentistry because he realized how much he loves helping people. He attended Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and graduated with a DMD degree.
Dr. Shin lives in Ann Arbor with his wife, Dr. Grace Yang, who is a postdoctoral researcher in the psychology department at the University of Michigan, and their seven year-old daughter, Lily. He is very good at classical singing and also plays several instruments. He loves and enjoys playing golf even in the cold weather as long as there is no snow on the green.
Dr. Shin has a steady hand and performs every aspect of dentistry including complicated procedures such as molar root canal therapy. He is also skilled at cosmetic dentistry procedures like veneer treatments aimed at improving patients’ smiles. Armed with knowledge, confidence, compassion, and experience, he looks forward to seeing his patients every day.
