About Dr. Winter
Dr. H. Karl Winter, DDS, MBA, FICOI, DICOI has dedicated over 30 years to the field of implant dentistry. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1982 and is a recognized Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
As a distinguished graduate of the Misch Implant Institute, Dr. Winter earned a surgical and prosthetic certificate, collaborating closely with Dr. Misch for many years before taking over his private practice in Beverly Hills in 2014. Following in Dr. Misch’s footsteps, Dr. Winter has committed himself to educating the next generation of dentists in the field of dental implants. Dr. Winter furthered his expertise by completing an executive MBA program at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business. His studies and development work with BioHorizon Implant Systems have contributed to advancements in dental implant technologies, enhancing their design and accessibility for general dentists.
In 2023, Dr. Winter returned to his alma mater as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he continues to prepare students for successful careers in dentistry.
